A. In a nutshell, anyone seeking a new California Notary Commission must complete a mandatory six-hour course from an approved educational vendor, prior to taking the examination. Existing California Notaries wishing to renew their commissions, must also take the mandatory six-hour course.

Bring your online course certificate, along with your photo identification indicated on the certificate.
